About This Book

Letman is internationally known for his trailblazing synthesis of illustration and lettering. He not only creates masterful decorative letters and typefaces, but also pioneers work that is a hybrid of graphic design, screen printing, graffiti, illustration, and painting.

This book is the first monograph from Amsterdam-based illustrator Job Wouters, who works under the pseudonym Letman. In addition to commissioned designs for publications including New York Times Magazine, Playboy, It’s Nice That, and Creative Review and brands such as Audi, Heineken, Dries Van Noten, Tommy Hilfiger, Eastpak, and Universal, Letman also includes a compelling selection of his personal projects and sketches.

Jeff of GoMedia has provided a new photoshop action that works great on 1 color logos and designs as well as photos. You can adjust the any of the filters if necessary to provide your design with the proper distress that you would like it to have. It is available for $1.99 here. Among Villains $10 until August 1st

 

Among Villains is having a sale until August 1st where all of their shirts are available for $10 + $5 for shipping. The printing is quality nice and the shirts are soft.  The designs are very well done and this is a brand worth checking out. My favorite design is "Above the law" Other notable designs are the S.O.W.H.A.T.?. design   and Honor Among Thieves.
